Welcoming Micah Sims as Vice President of Operations
Micah joins our McLean, Virginia headquarters to lead company operations alongside General Manager Emilie Eisold.
CakeBoxx Technologies is VERY excited to announce the addition of Mr. Micah Sims to the CakeBoxx Team. Micah joins the headquarters team in McLean, Virginia as our Vice President of Operations.
For more than 15 years, CakeBoxx has been doing what conventional container and transport platform providers simply could not: design and build purpose-built systems that protect, move, store, and deploy critical assets in the world’s most demanding environments. We build transport and storage solutions to keep critical missions and equipment supported and mission ready.
Building the team for what’s next
CakeBoxx has proven itself where it counts. Now is the moment to build on that and become the clear leader in this industry, and that takes the right team leading the way. As you’ve seen in our recent announcements, we’ve been assembling a more talented team ready to take CakeBoxx to this new level and scale the company for what’s ahead.
Micah’s appointment is timed for this moment: he will lead that team alongside our General Manager, Emilie Eisold, overseeing all company operations and building the roadmap, systems, and scale it takes to cement our position of innovation leadership. Together, they will ensure CakeBoxx’s growth is built to scale with the many demands ahead.
About Micah
Micah brings more than 15 years of professional maritime experience in operations, logistics, container maintenance and repair, military leadership, and strategic planning—experience shaped by his service as a Lieutenant Commander in the U.S. Navy Reserve. He has led terminal operations teams, served as Chief Mate responsible for shipboard personnel and cargo operations, and supported the U.S. Navy’s long-range planning for sealift and special-mission ships as a senior consultant with USfalcon, where he was named Employee of the Year. His Navy assignments included support to the Pentagon, strategic sealift, combat logistics, and Sixth Fleet operations. Micah earned an MBA from Clemson University and a bachelor’s degree in Maritime Transportation from the United States Merchant Marine Academy.
