CakeBoxx Technologies has been developing transformational modular, versatile transportation and storage platforms since the 2011.
In 2014 CakeBoxx launched the TrusDek®, series of intermodal containers. TrusDek®’s ultra-strong, highly engineered platform technology was developed to be the “deck” component of our unique and innovative “CakeBoxx®” two-piece “deck and lid” intermodal containers.
CakeBoxx has used TrusDek®’s high-strength, high-resiliency, and adaptable properties to engineer standalone platform solutions for leading commercial and governmental organizations worldwide and across industries, optimizing their value chains to increase velocity and lower cost.

Our custom-engineered transport platforms are the industry standard for moving onshore and offshore wind turbines and components.
In 2019 CakeBoxx was selected by one of the world’s leading wind energy OEMs to produce over 500 transportation platforms capable of carrying wind turbine drivetrain payloads of up to 105 tons. Since then, CakeBoxx has more than doubled that payload capacity with specialized platforms for larger, heavier ‘super load’ wind turbine cargos, helping the wind energy industry move critical assets faster and at scale to support Net Zero targets.
Additionally, transport times were reduced from months to days, while enabling Zero Defect deliveries.

Platforms to capture and secure environmentally harmful chemicals
In 2017 CakeBoxx began engineering capture sump platforms for Alaska’s environmentally demanding North Slope oil industry. These fit below and adapt to standard ISO containers, securely capturing and storing any environmentally harmful chemical leakage from operating machinery in the containers above. This CakeBoxx platform design technology improves performance logistics and helps customers achieve ecologically responsible, sustainable supply chains.
