Salary: $18.50-$21.00/hour

Job Type: Full-time or part-time paid internship

Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a business analyst intern. The intern will work in the Commercial Operations Department of CakeBoxx Technologies’ corporate headquarters in McLean, VA. As a business analyst intern, you will work with team members on various aspects of business development, sales and marketing, sales operations, financial management, administration, and customer service. Applicants should possess excellent written and oral communication and strong competency with office management software. Problem-solving skills are also essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to support customer acquisition and retention efforts
  • Provide essential support for project management activities, including task coordination, documentation preparation, and stakeholder communications
  • Provide support for:
    • The development of business strategies and plans
    • Financial management and analysis
    • Procurement requirements and processes
  • Create presentations and sales and marketing materials
  • Assist in identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of business processes
  • Serve as integrator between business needs and technology solutions, helping to create technology-enabled solutions to meet business needs
  • Leverage data analysis tools to collect, analyze, and interpret business, financial, and market data
  • Actively participate in the process of gathering detailed business requirements from stakeholders
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field preferred
    • Intern applicants shall be presently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in a business, supply chain, logistics, or transportation-related discipline.
  • Excellent ability to communicate verbally and in writing (writing samples required)
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers, suppliers, and internal teams
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry and documentation
  • Ability to develop PowerPoint presentations and graphics
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)
  • Strong English language proficiency in communicating technical and subject matter information, both verbally and in writing
  • Desired but not required:
    • Knowledge and skills in advanced software tools (graphic design experience with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, and Access database appreciated)
    • Basic social media marketing proficiency – writing and scheduling posts on LinkedIn, basic image content creation/editing
  • S. Citizenship or Green Card required
  • Valid U.S. Driver’s License
  • S. Passport and ability to travel preferred
  • Veterans and prior military service appreciated
  • Second language skills appreciated but not required
